Long time, no see! I hope this finds you well. I’m snuggled up with Diva having a cup of tea & and watching the Olympics on this lovely (& sunny) Portland winter day.
I’m checking in to say Hi and offer a couple updates and share a few things I’m excited for. I hope to make this a monthly check-in to share new discoveries in Portland & life.
I’m still in the wild world of Portland real estate and slowly building my “online presence” hahaha! I’m always here should you need help with buying/ selling/ downsizing and all that jazz!
The world has been a LOT lately and I’m taking stock in my friendships and feeling grateful for my little slice of heaven on the water. So if you’re reading this, thanks for being a friend. Reach out sometime and say Hi – I’d love to hear what’s new in your life!
Cheers! Barbara
P.S. If we’ve worked together on a home buying/selling adventure before, I’d so appreciate a Google Review here! (Part of that whole “Building my Online Presence” thing 😂.)
Stuff I Love:
Winter Olympics Figure Skating, Baby!
Three Team USA women to watch:
Amber Glenn is chasing history with three consecutive national titles—the first American woman to do so since Michelle Kwan. After overcoming injuries and self-doubt, she now lands a powerful triple axel, one of the most difficult jumps in figure skating.
Alysa Liu brings a remarkable comeback story, returning to the sport after retiring post-2022 Olympics and qualifying once again for the 2026 Games with her trademark power and flair.
The youngest of the trio, Isabeau Levito is a true ballerina on the ice, pairing elegance with consistent triple jumps. Seeing all three on the podium would be a dream. ✨⛸️
I hadn’t been to the Arlene Schnitzer concert hall in ages til returning a few months ago for the OR Symphony’s “Carmina Burana.” It was a mind-blowing affair and I’ve got the symphony bug now. There were HUNDREDS of musicians on stage with the violinists crammed sideways along the front of the stage to make room for the multiple PSU choirs on the risers at the back. GOOSEBUMPS.
What a gem of a venue we have here in Portland. The 2026-2027 schedule was just released but the current season is still underway and it is spectacular. Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons” and Mozart are just a few weeks away!
She’ll miss her neighbors and fabulous neighborhood but it’s on to a new chapter! Thank you so much for trusting me to list your beautiful home & may your new path in the new year be warm & wonderful!
